Artist Statement



My art works are visual metaphors that contain ideas
about structures and systems in the universe and their
interconnectedness. I use number systems, structures
found in nature and architectural ideas as
visual elements in the work. The painting and drawing
processes are very important formal elements in the
the works. The use of drips and splashes, erasures
and marks reinforce certain dynamic qualities that
speak about concepts of both growth and
